Canadian Mason visits Irvinestown

At our last communication before the summer break the WM welcomed a visitor all the way from Canada, RW Bro. Henry Evans Past Provincial Deputy Grand Master of Alberta. RW Bro Evans thanked the WM for his welcome and said that he had enjoyed the meeting and noticed a number of differences between the Irish working and the Canadian.

The ballot for three candidates was held and found to be clear so hopefully our Degree team will be busy for the next year! After the Lodge closed a bottle raffle in aid of the Widow's Fund was held and this along with the extra from the Festive board came to £140.

A festive board at the Necarne Arms was very sucessful with the brethern enjoying chicken legs and other hot food. The crack was good with some good stories from Bill Wilson.
